Introduction

I recently stumbled upon another great program for digital nomads and startups! Not only can you visit Busan, but through the program's support, you can also stay at a great hotel at an affordable price. The Busan government is working hard to make their city a digital nomad hotspot, offering free co-working spaces across town with amazing ocean views. The program aims to attract digital workers who will stay for extended periods, rather than just dropping in for a day to use the workspace.

This program is primarily designed for Korean small-mid sized company employees, which can make the application process more complex for foreign digital nomads and remote workers. Food Adventures in Busan

During my workation in Busan, I couldn't resist exploring the city's famous culinary delights. Here are some must-try local specialties I enjoyed:
  • Dwaeji Gukbap (돼지국밥): A hearty pork soup with rice that's a Busan specialty. Perfect for chilly days!
  • Busan-style Hotteok (호떡): A unique version of the Korean sweet pancake filled with seeds and nuts - crispier than its Seoul counterpart
  • Milmyeon (밀면): Cold wheat noodles in a refreshing broth, a dish that originated in Busan and became a local favorite
